This is where you can roleplay the wolves (as long as they're in this part of the land) as well as any other characters in the area. The StarTree is located here.

The wolf pack had settled down at last in the new pack-base. Dice was dreaming of howling into a stary sky. Rumpy was dreaming about her days when she was captive in a dog fighting ranch. She had escaped but had left her foster pup, which was a cat. When she came back two years later she saw what had become of her. Scars had criss-crossed over her body. And the cat's front right paw had been stripped of it's skin and had hardened into a bright red scar. (sound familliar?!) On a lighter note, Patchers was dreaming of the great elk migration when he had caught a huge bull big enough for the whole pack. Skychest was keeping watch. He gazed over the plains and spampy forest and watched the wind stir the treetips of Veilclan territory.

Storm, who had been sleeping, muzzle on her paws, jumped with a start. She took a breath and sat up, wrapping her fluffy tail over her paws. The she-wolf was aware of Skychest's presence and crouched lower before deciding to talk to him. Storm slunk over towards their leader, holding herself low in submission. "This is a beautiful land," she growled. "Strange, maybe, but beautiful nonetheless." Her eyes quickly jumped up to Skychest, but only for a moment.

"Hmmmm." rumbled Skychest in his deep voice. He turned his great eyes over to his pack mate. In his old pack the alpha male would only be kind to his alpha female, but here in Skypack, He was kind to Storm even though Rumpy was the alpha female. "I think that this territory should be very well for our pack, Once all of the trails are organized, will our pack grow and prosper."

Storm had always wondered about the Alpha males. The way he spoke was with certainty, as if he knew the future, impossible as it was. Every pack leader she had met before had carried with them the same air. It was mysterious, and she sometimes speculated about it. As if when one became leader they were more in tune with the world around them. She half-wondered whether Skychest's words would come true.
"Yes, perhaps the pack will finally be able to settle here, undisturbed. I don't there are any other wolves around, but who knows what else this place may contain. I'm kind of happy that we left behind those ruins. Something felt wrong with them."

Somthing flickered in the great wolf's eyes. "The only thing wrong was that we harmed and killed an innocent cat. I can never look at Marble the same way again. I am quite afraid that we could harm her kind again if we are not careful."

Storm was silent for a while before she replied. "It was more than that though. It was like...a graveyard."
She stood, and if Skyheart hadn't been so near she'd have stretched, but she resisted, holding herself low. "We should probably go hunting soon," she noted, though the fact was quite obvious.

"They go, take Dice with you." rumbled Skychest flatly. He raised his great head and howled to awken the pack. It was time to get their territory organized.

Storm was confused for a moment. Normally the whole pack would go, but it wasn't her authority to question him, so she nodded her head and backed away. The she-wolf then lifted her head and straightened up, looking for Dice. When she had spotted her packmate, she growled, "Skyheart says you should hunt with me today."

Dice cocked his head and chuckled. "Ok then, were would be the best place to find a good elk?"

"I don't really know, but we can locate them with some time," Storm cried in reply. "We've always managed to."

Dice stormed ahead of Storm, he was hot on the trail of a wounded bull elk. He would lick his chops every time he loped past a few drops of blood. The two wolves were getting close. He coughed roughly in joy when he saw the forest thin into the marsh. He saw the great beast stuck in the mud almost all the way up to his under belly. The clumsy prey must have tripped and rolled off one of the rocky cliffs. "I got dibs on the antlers!" Dice howled back to Storm.

Storm ignored Dice and distanced herself from him so she could attack from the other side and the animal would have no chance of escape. When the animal was between the tow of them, she glanced over to him, asking him to make the first move.

Without breaking his momentem, the lean wolf lept and enclosed the elk's mouth in his toothy jaws. Water swamped up around Dice and he had to swim to stay above water. He wined and wimped for Storm to finish the hunt.

Storm charged at the elk and lifted her head, tearing open it's throat. Under the pain and weight of Dice, the beast crumpled. It panted heaving and let out a moan before it's head drop and it died. Storm wrinkled her nose and shook her head, delirious from the blood. "Lets move this," she panted, eager to satisfy her hunger. The she-wolf sank her teeth into the body and began to drag it onto solider ground.
